Growth Habits: Basally branching, stems up to 2 to 6 feet (0.6 to 2 m), 0.9 to 2.8 inches (2.2 to 7 cm) in diameter; 10 to 25 ribs; spines 8 to 9; 1 to 3 central spines, 0.3 to 1.2 inches (0.7 to 3 cm) long; 5 to 10 radial spines, 0.2 to 0.8 inch (0.5 to 2 cm) long;


Blooming Habits:
Flowers 1 to 1.2 inches (2.5 to 3 cm) in length, 0.3 to 0.4 inch (0.8 to 1 cm) in diameter, greenish yellow or red; fruit 0.4 to 0.8 inch long (1 to 2 cm)
